Nigerian Publishers Association (NPA)
The professional body for book publishers in Nigeria. The NPA hosted REPRONIG's formal launch at Book House, Ibadan, in 2003.
REPRONIG brings together the associations that represent creators and publishers of literary and artistic works in Nigeria.
The main beneficiaries of REPRONIG’s activities are authors and publishers; academic and research institutions; corporate organisations; international rightsholders; and the general public.
Rightsholders are paid for the copying of their works. Institutions get simple, lawful access to a large body of published material. And the public benefits from a book sector that can afford to keep publishing.
Rightsholders can join REPRONIG through their association or register independently. Association officers verify their members on the DRMS.

The national association of creative writers, representing novelists, poets and dramatists across Nigeria.
Formed in 1995 to set up a reproduction rights organisation for Nigeria. ANFAAN's initiative led directly to the incorporation of REPRONIG.
Represents translators, whose translations are protected as literary works in their own right.
Represents newspaper publishers, whose articles and images are among the most widely copied published material.
Represents photographers whose images appear in books, journals, magazines and newspapers.
Founded in 1963, the society represents visual artists, including illustrators whose work is embedded in published books.
If you belong to one of the member associations, select it when you register on the DRMS. Your association officer confirms your membership, which speeds up verification.
If you do not belong to an association, you can still register directly with REPRONIG. The Secretariat reviews your identity documents and works.
